Congratulations Hancock Public School Students and Staff!!!
Thanks to your commitment and hard work, Hancock Elementary and High School students scored above the state average at all grade levels and in all areas tested on the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments. The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs) are yearly state-mandated tests that measure student achievement in reading, mathematics, and science. The MCAs are based on the Minnesota Academic Standards, which outline what students should be able to do and know at each grade level. Students are tested in reading in 3rd through 8th and 10th grades, in math in 3rd through 8th and 11th grades, and in science in 5th, 8th, and 10th grades.
In reading, all grades combined averaged 21.01% above the MN state average.
In math, all grades combined averaged 25.46% above the MN state average.
In science, all grades combined averaged 20.17% above the MN state average.
Keep up the good work!
